From building safe hallways to bullying prevention assembly Dothan High School's SADD Chapter is celebrating by having guest speakers come and speak about bullying. This is the launch day of i.AM for the city of Dothan.
The Activities:
The day began with statistics being said over the intercom with the morning announcements. Next was the filling of the halls where Dothan High School Students brought in signs with inspirational quotes, compliments, statistics, and messages. They collected over 30 posters/flyers to hang in front of the auditorium and the hallway next to the auditorium that leads to the lunchroom. During lunch two of Dothan High School SADD Officers sat in all four lunchrooms with Anti-Bullying Pledges that students could fill out. At the end of all the lunches they had collected a total of 172 sign pledges. The day ended with a Bullying Conference. Guest speakers included Judge Butch Binford, Susan Trawick, Beth Ford, Judy Guiler, Austin Smith, Cheyenne Trujillo, and Chris Payne.
